First public package for 0.6

This is a pre alpha package of 0.6. Currently lots of things are broken because of script modules being rewritten (saving/loading games won't work, multiplayer will lose synchronization because of scripts not being synchronized,...) and is likely to introduce several bugs.

You'll find this package here:

it's a win32 package because we need reports on how the SDL code performs on this platform, if you want to try TA3D 0.6 on another platform you'll have to get the trunk folder from the subversion repository and built it from source code.

Normally you should the game should start once it has all the required hpi files in its root folder (install script is currently broken so you'll have to do it manually).

I am waiting for bug reports :twisted:

Halted during units loading process.

Couldn`t even kill the process. Textures and font are looks fine. Logs are sent :P

oops, I've seen the mail before the post ... so you answered here questions I asked in my email answer :) .

Can you try with rev31.gp3 (with and without ccdata.ccx) ?
It's complaining about missing files which can be found in those 2 archives.

with rev31.gp3 and ccdata.ccx it worked.

But looks ugly. Logs and screenshot are sent.

In-game map and GUI textures are bugged, but MEGAZOOM map and unit textures are drawn correctly.

so this crash is due to missing files ... we'll fix texture loader first it may fix this side effect bug.

I've seen the screen shot, try with details texture disabled and shadow quality set to none.

Doesn`t change anything turning on/off textures/shadows/detail_maps, textures are still bugged, except some map objects (like rocks).

Also - console doesn`t work.

Now, since it works, here`s some new bugs:

1. Square selection box doesn`t drawn correctly.
2. ARM K-bot lab lev.1 doesn`t build anything.

Did you manage to test new 3D weapon models, Vohvelieläin sent you?

No, not yet, I have been busy fixing things I have broken :p, like this factory bug, if you build another one it might work. I noticed that factory seems to randomly stop working ... I don't know why yet but this is script related.

Also - this green bounding box is drawn on other map :P Don`t know how it can be releated to map....

Also - lv1 Construction ship doesn`t have build menu :P

P.S. Shadows on water map look fantastic!

Bounding box is drawn only if shadows set to normal.

P.S. Old console command conserning shadows doesn`t drawn correctly.

There is a bug with water shaders, when game lag happens (because of other software or because of many objects on the screen) it seems like calculation error in water drawing procedure occurs and water becomes bugged. After some time it resets, but sometimes bug dissapears, and sometimes it still remains.
