compilation error

Post by Orb » Mon Mar 23, 2009 5:50 pm

Hiho,
I do get an error when I try to compile TA3D.
Here it is:

Code: Select all

--snip--
-- GLEW Library : /usr/lib/libGLEW.so
CMake Error: Freetype_DIR is not set. It must be set to the directory containing FreetypeConfig.cmake in order to use Freetype.
-- FTGL Library : /usr/lib/libftgl.a
-- TA3D will be installed in: /usr/local
-- Configuring done
I'm using Ubuntu 8.04
When I check with my synaptic I have the Freetype6 (which is the FreeType2 package) installed.
I've tried putting the correct Path manually but so far no luck. I get:

Code: Select all

CMake Error: Freetype_DIR is set to "/usr/lib/libfreetype.a", which is not a directory containing FreetypeConfig.cmake
(happens with all paths of freetype files.

Any suggestions?

Make sure you have libfreetype6-dev installed, here it doesn"t look for the library but for its header files.

I've just reinstalled all Freetype packages (again!). The error persists.
I still don't have any idea.
