TA3D crashes in loading battle...

You have a problem with TA3D, it doesn't run or it crashes...

TA3D crashes in loading battle...

Hi guys. I've got the problem: TA3D 0.6 crashes in loading battle (loading screen of battle)... I use default settings, it crashes in random battle...
My OS:
Windows 7 64-bit/x64 (!)
My hardware:
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 925
Video: ATI HD 4730
RAM: 4 GB DDR 3

Please, help me (give me an advice or fix this bug), cause I wanna play it (TA3D)...

Hi !

According to the logs, there is something wrong with at least one resource file. Do you use modified HPI archives, files or a mod ? Which game archives did you install ?

I use TOTALA1.hpi and TOTALA2.hpi from TA:The Core Contingency. And TA3D 0.5.4 worked, but textures were very dark (or black)...

I've just tested with only totala1.hpi and totala2.hpi and discovered a nasty bug that was crashing the whole thing. Try to play with the rev31.gp3 file from the 3.1 patch, or add a few archives from TA:CC (like ccdata.ccx, ccmiss.ccx for campaign missions, ccmaps.ccx for maps). You can also play with the free data set which contains HD replacement for several models (not all unfortunately) :

One of those archives should override the buggy file.
