excuse me for a stupid question, but i can't play the TA3d! he asks me some files... maybe i'm stupid, but i don't understand how to specify him the files .ufo and .hpi . where i can download that, and how to insert these files in game? beforehand thanks.
P.S. i'm from Russia. excuse me for bad english, in my school teach that very bad.

on windows just put totala1.hpi and totala2.hpi (and other *.hpi/*.ufo/*.ccx/*.ufo files) to TA3D install folder, on Linux just put them in ~/.ta3d/resources/.

these files must be from total annihilation installator, or already installated total annihilation?

you can find those files on TA CDs (the totala1.hpi file must be extracted from totala3.hpi on the first CD), you can also find the totala1.hpi file on a regular TA install.

then you have to extract the files from them or install TA with a virtual CD drive. But it you want a legal set of files, there is an enhanced demo package on ta3d.freedoors.org.
