Crash on Campaign
Crash on Campaign
When trying to play a Campaign from ARM or CORE any it doesn't matter and starting it the Game crashes no errors nothing..
OS: Windows XP SP2
RAM: 1024 MB DDR1
GPU: GeForce 9800 GTX
Game version: 0.6.0 Alpha 16

you should have a stdout.txt file (or a log/ta3d.log file if you don't find it), can you send it to me : zuzuf86 at gmail.com

I have extra checked if it works on OTA and it does
perhaps the Alpha dosent load everything all mandatory files..

have you put the totala4.hpi file into TA3D's install folder ?

no i thought there gives only 2 totala*.hpi

there are 4 totala*.hpi files, you need only 3 of them (totala3.hpi is only required by OTA installer, it also contains totala1.hpi):
- totala1.hpi for units, weapons, menus, etc ...
- totala2.hpi for maps
- totala4.hpi for campaigns

tried now with totala4.hpi
and it crashes

using with TA3D mod it crashes at triyng playing one of TA:BT Arm very short mission the first one

And delete "cache" dir for the clean run.

ho yeah, I forgot that, clearing the cache is very important when playing with archives and resource sets ... (adding some kind of hash code identifying cache file origin may help here).

i got all those mandatory files
and tried with deleting Cache too.. it doesn't work :/
the game crashes as soon as i want to start to run Missions,
the stdout.txt
doesn't say anything about errors or fatals,
