I think it's the best choice. It's flexible and easy to use.

Many TA Mods are maintained using wiki system, it`s a good choice

now that we have a wiki we should decide what to put in ... it's still empty

And now comes the great question :
do we add the wiki to the already existing help (2 things to update) or do we keep only the wiki ? In the later case we must fill it quickly enough so we can release 0.4.2 with something that works.

Well, kinda hard thing to decide. Well, let`s keep wiki and help at the begining. Later we`ll see if onlt wiki is enought.

ok, that's a good idea for the moment since the wiki isn't ready yet ...

We'll also have lots of things to add to the documentation since we'll have campaign support for 0.4.2 among other things

I'm sorry to be the black sheep here, but wiki is good for the writers. For the readers, it's generally VERY hard to find something if you don't know exactly the name of what you search.
I suggest you create a list of ALL pages and put it on the first page.

We can use the wiki of the trac. It is possible to add a plugin which should fulfill your requirements :
