Matmans Features/Ta 3d suggestions

Shadows shouldn't be pixellated, the part where the land is submerged looks wierd, shading does not darken like normal in real life, but it looks more like it is submerged under jello. :\
Palm trees look excellent
whats with the Z at the last picture?
also the shading on the commander looks a bit wierd....
some constructive feedback

shading ... I guess you're talking about the shadow map which is a simple shadow map. I could improve using a known technique to push more details in front of the camera but I have bugs to fix first
.
The Z is an idea from Matman : a kind of toggle button to go quickly into tactical mode (maximum zoom out centered). Maybe later when there GUI can be scripted with Lua
.

Flasshbang,The shadows are pixelated because i'm zoomed in very far. Look at other screenshots that are in the correct top-down view and you will see the shadows are fine.

Im going to make a thread for ta3d bugs, i cant even get the latest version to run.
Not much in the way of errorlogs though....
