Smoke options ?

You think of something which could be added to TA3D post here! /

Smoke options ?

I discovered the other day the "TA3D config" software in the menu. Can i suggest options about something that often bore me in games : Smoke ?


- On/Off Unit smoke (smoke generated by the FBI file).
- On/Off Terrain smoke (smoke generated by map stuff, like the geos vents).
- On/Off Explosion smoke (smoke in the explosions).

Smoke always change the game speed and perception, but different smokes are not liked in the same manner : I, particularly, hate the smoke of firing guns. That's ugly, and that's computer power not used for other things.

Hmm, the FBI file is not responsible for any smoke effect ... unit scripts are responsible for most of them (damaged units smoke, sometimes smoke of firing guns, smoke emitted by power-plants, etc ...) which makes it difficult to identify the kind of smoke a script wants to produce. There is an option to turn off particles but it also disables nanolathing effects.
