Rename Namespace `TA3D` into `T`

Post by milipili » Thu Jun 26, 2008 2:04 pm

Would it be possible to replace the root namespace `TA3D` by `T` only ? I find this quite annoying for my part.

then maybe later if we find a good reason ... but it'd be better to have that good reason now since we're going to rename several objects.

I have no other reason honestly. We known we are working on TA3D and a single letter is enough to isolate it into its own namespace. I am just lazy, that's all :D

Renaming the namespace to T would be a very bad idea, many namespaces out there are already implemented with signal character based namespaces.

It was me who implemented the namespace as TA3D. If you are that lazy you can always head the code by using namespace TA3D; which should find everything in the area, unless there are multiple instances of functions that are located in TA3D and another.

I don't like the idea to rename TA3D namespace to T because TA3D is more explicit whereas you don't see what T means here (TA3D, TNT, TEST ?)

hi guys, i'am not totally back yet, I have most things finally wrapped up here concerning my personal matters that I belive I referenced to zuff, in fact, most of the rebuilding is done, as well as the cleanup, its just a matter of alot of painting, and going through rooms one at a time, as well as the replacement of many of our possessions.

I can't truely return untill october, when I will attain my new computer, this one is the kids and surrvived the fire with no water/smoke/fire damage, but is somewhat full of 'junk' and just couln't handle all my dev tools/libs.

I want you guys to know that I have been checking in from time to time mainly just peeking over the shoulder so to speak, and as always zuf your doing one hell of a job, for a fellow who had little programing experience you have come a hell of a long ways, you should be very proud.

milli, its good to see a new face, and balthazar its always good to see you. keep up the great work guys, your almost there, it won't be long before you have everything finished, and nothing to do but the rewrite.

++Cire.
