I set up a wiki here:

Currently it's empty so feel free to fill it with articles ;)

I would strongly reccomend against using media wiki, you're only letting yourself in for a world of pain regarding pages that laod at a snails pace.

That and my host is a shared environment, and mediawiki is particularly cpu intensive. If it becomes popular then it may end up in a recycle bin somewhere. Hence why all my wikis are dokuwiki.

You have set up caching etc? There is a monobook theme for dokuwiki too.

Well, i don`t know how many users must access at the same time TA3D wiki documentation, so AF could feel any uncomfortable circumstances, but I do know, that it won`t happen in near and not near future :)

I like wiki idea, looks nice :)

AF -> I do not know dokuwiki, I installed mediawiki because I am already using it on two servers at university. If you don't like it we can change it, it's your server ;)
I didn't set up caching since but that can be added.

REVENGE -> thank you for the wiki idea ;)

Caching is a must.

And dokuwiki syntax is similar to mediawiki. Its slightly faster and its filebased too so backups are easy.

There's a monobook theme for dokuwiki. If you use ti I have some .htaccess files that'll add expiration headers to the necessary files and speed things up a little more.

You can also do several things to speed it up further, such as gzip compression of pages, and not replacing page names with their titles, aswell as increasing the expiration time for cached pages.

Ok, I'm going to assume we're sticking to dokuwiki, so I'll start some article names or a layout proposal. I'll look at existing documentation.
