Ok, I've got my new computer all setup, all tools installed and updated, and ready to attain the newest source, could you please point me to a location with the latest source or somewhat near new.
Is the one on the downloads the newest, or at least close to new. Keep in mind that its still gona take me a few more days to familiarize myself with all the changes.

I think a basic set of general uml diagrams and an explanation of the engines core primary processes and data structures would help new programmers get into it that much quicker, or who're just lazy.

hm, yes, currently there is only a docs/dev.txt file that briefly explain how the code works. When I'll have time (this week end) I'll do something.

It would be good to have a look at the website and update the download links in the Linux/Windows pages.
and also to give the URL to get the source from SVN for the most adventurers.
I mean the command line to get it AND the http URL to browse through it.

yes, good idea, I'll add this information.
PS: I'll do that when I'll be back home tonight, so I'll modify the floating menus too (using TA3D's current GUI skin
)

Done
We now have great floating menus !!
Also I have increased security of the login process, since it's needed to post/make changes to the news, it had to be secure

Does anyone know of a plugin for visual stuidos, either 2005/2007 that works well with SVN? I can find some but they want a ridiculus price for them.

I wouldnt bother.
tortoiseSVN works brilliantly, though it integrates with explorer not VS2005/8 which actually makes it more useful.
