Insane idea for escalation

Im going to be working on unit upgrades....without the dllls!

look at this..... See when a units movement capabilities are disabled in a factory, it remains cluttering the factory (which will prevent you from building 2 of the same upgrade too) but, the unit can still fire/make metal/energy. So this is basically what im going to do to upgrades for ta3d, make them into actual unit factories (although looking the same altogether). I hope this works, i already have gotten a fusion in game, it just tries to self destruct its upgrade :(

I DONT REPRESENT ESCALATION

VOID

EUREKA!!!!

I GOT IT TO WORK!!!!!!!!!!
if you can ignore a wacko script (the fusion uses the arm shipyard script atm...just making it an actual factory without a weapon)

then awesome sauce....i give you a pic. (this is without the dlls)

that little bulky part is the upgrade

A gui needs to be created for this to occur.
im pretty sure it can work in ta3d, seeing as to how there is no manipulation of either engine in any sort/form of circumstance.

i had to restore my system so i think the stuff i made is all gone...
oh well.... :(

I guess it's too late for this time but you can still get a rescue disk or a Live-CD (like a kubuntu disk: http://www.kubuntu.org/getkubuntu) so that next time you can preserve your data
