This is better than OTA's movie.
What about TA3D's Campaign movies?

And worse in future days, I have a 20 hours train in 12.28, and will have some free time after that... But really so much thing to do for TA :D . OTA mod, bugs fix, TA3D's crash test, and games

It does not matter. We can use vertex reduction :-D

I have an Idea.. Might Culling + Level of Detail would make those Ultra-HD Units be able to set on the Game?

Because As far as i know the farer they get , They will be less detailed And it get only rendered what the Player 'Sees'

so it wouldn't cause huge FPS hit when the Ultra-HD Models get used

correct me please if i am wrong

But it would increase memory foot print which is already not that small. We probably don't need HD models in game because geometrical data is far from compact if you only want to add details to the model's surface. Using bump maps and/or displacement maps is much more memory efficient (using distance mapping - cf http://http.developer.nvidia.com/GPUGem ... ter08.html - you could achieve the same level of details with less memory and a much higher frame rate  but this requires a shader capable video card).

That's quite impressive ! Those models have a really high level of details but they keep OTA general look and feel (it's still machines with a basic topology) which would make it possible to convert them to low poly models with some bump/distance mapping :)

(see http://http.developer.nvidia.com/GPUGem ... _ch18.html if you don't know what that kind of effect can do 8) ).

What for? Ta3D already do have more detailed units that it have to, so there is no need in more detailed models.
But pathfinding and units interaction are steel need improvement.

We don't have HD models for all units :(. Most arm units are still lacking, most core buildings too. The free data set is far from being complete. Also having details would be great for First Person view 8).

Gameplay would be great for first person view, as well as for perspective view. There are still many bugs left and pathfinding and AI lacking perfection :P
