How`s the pathfinding progress going? Once you`ll build version with the new pathfinding I`ll create a full version package (Ta3D+OTA+CC) and release in on our russian community. I suppose it`ll bring new developers, modellers and other people to the project.

Currently I am working on replacing some ugly things in the code, so new pathfinding code is far from being finished yet. I would like to improve the Mission list model which is currently used by units in order to add a clean way of handling unit moves that is mission related. For instance, when a unit is too far from a target it should follow/get closer to it but if the unit is doing nothing and is preventing other units from passing then it'll move away to allow other units to pass. Current Mission model separates an order into steps the unit must follow and the movement code is based only on one mission step not the mission goal itself. In some cases this is responsible for bugs (units guarding other units will want to finish current mission step before thinking again to the unit they are guarding).

No, they are TOO MUCH detailed to be used even in first-person shooter, than RTS. That`s why we need more simlple models to replace TA ones. (or snitch them from TASpring)

Maybe we can use them and reduce their complexity. There are several ways to simulate details using shading techniques

There is no way this model can be reduced to low-poly ones with apropriate quality. It`s much easier to create low-poly from the start, using this pictures as refference.

, but you're right it's probably easier to make a low-poly model from the start but you won't be able to simulate that kind of details.

We play in war in long time, start this before a epic period. The reason of the war is nothings, both for CORE and for ppl who dead in war, but this is the war , And, we are CORE we are win. In now it's your time:

This is a Core story, due to I'm a Core player(ever didn't know most of arm's T2 units), and if Arm story also need in soon I will write Arm one soon. /:^}

Start as a commander, start in front of numerous enemy, start in D-GUN and building-LLT, then grow to slightly the size of base, and the tide of enemy be intercepted like dam stir wave... In then, the Base strong enough to contend to wave of enemy /:^}~!

Well, that`s not bad but it sounds like a bunch of units kicks asses of other bunch of units. I though maybe about something more interested... Like the plain filled of wrekage, where commander sadly moving among the remains of it`s army, then it finds a wrekage of construction K-Bot, ressurect it and they live long and happy. Or something like that. I`d ( me personally) like to see some "feelings" part in TA universe, the ARM and CORE have their goals, they are quite deadly, but they should have their stranges or rituals or something like that.
It would be nice if the video will show us something from this point of view. Dunno what the modeller will do, though

Well, I think TA players always more like control units than hero.
For first story, the end is:
After once and once struggle the commder success in blocking arm wave in Dolla, one of his close-subordinate had killed 20 enemy. and CORE commder found there are enough arm in here for start a Nuclear, thus Core commander start the nuclear in base for wreck all of his base with 10 times enemys, and the planet will die in this case.
Commder leave by gatedoor without looking at his subordinate, without hesitation.
"Some of his force maybe had some ideas like disappointed when they found commander know how to win but know nothings about their idea." The commder kick this stupid think from his CPU due to this think just waste his time and resources, and waiting for next war, next order from Core.

Currently there is no need in SVN, since all the models are for Video modelling only, they are way too detailed to be used in game.

Unless we get Quantum Computers which is capable of drawing 100 Milliards or more of Polygons and Ultra-HD Textures and 50 Milliards of Units at the same time on a 100000x100000 size map with 5000 Players
also the PeeWee gun looks like a Larger Uzi's the gun of it could stick a bit more
